Andy Gibb had everything you could ever want. He was young, gorgeous, famous, and rich.

He was living the dream.

Andy was in numerous teen magazines, and the girls couldn’t get enough of his angelic voice. And his hot body.

Andy Had Demons

But he was also plagued by depression, anxiety, alcohol, and a cocaine problem that would take his life at the young age of thirty.

He was born Andrew Roy Gibb on March 5th, 1958, in Stretford, England. He was the legendary Bee Gees baby brother, one of the most successful music groups of all time.

At thirteen, he dropped out of high school and enjoyed joyriding around in limos with his friends, asking people to buy him alcohol.

Andy Was a Star

He became internationally famous in the 1970s and had six singles that made the top ten, and twenty others made the top charts. His biggest hit was “I Just Want To Be Your Everything,” which he helped write with his brother, Barry, from the Bee Gees.

Big Shoes to Fill

Andy wanted to make his mark on the world and get out from his famous brother’s shadow.
