Tony Wakeford, 75, lying on a hospital bed, believed he was dying from Parkinson’s’ disease.

Suffering from a guilty conscience, he decided to tell his wife, Patricia, 67, that he had a long affair with her best friend Penny Desallis a few years earlier.

Patricia was heartbroken but knew he was dying and tried to forgive him.

However, the twist, in this case, came when Tony survived his hospital visit miraculously.

He lived another four years. His wife took care of him and tried to make their relationship work despite her husband’s stunning revelation.

The Murder

At the couple's home one night in September 2011, Patricia and Tony started fighting.

She stated that she had been cutting vegetables when he pushed her. She had no choice but to fight back. She proceeded to stab him viciously.

He had wounds on his legs and arms, but the fatal stab was to his heart.

After Tony was dead, she called the police and told them she had killed her husband in self-defense.
