Michael Lee Wilson’s false testimony sent two innocent men to prison.

Malcolm Scott and De’ Marchoe Carpenter served a 20-year prison term because of Wilson. Scott and Carpenter were found guilty of a drive-by shooting of Karen Summers, 19.

They were both seventeen when they were found guilty and sentenced to life in prison, plus 150 years.

The state of Oklahoma made its case against Scott and Carpenter, mostly based on Wilson’s testimony against them.

Police found the murder weapon and the rental car used in the killing were registered to Wilson. However, they never looked at him as a suspect in the shooting. Their focus was solely on Scott and Carpenter.

The Big Lie and Another Murder

During his talks with the Oklahoma detectives, Wilson stated he gave bullets to Scott and Carpenter, and they told him to hide the gun.

The police let Wilson go and charged Scott and Carpenter with murder.
