1992 Ventura County California.

Geraldine Kelly was a tough woman. She was short, had plenty of tattoos, and was as tough as nails. She didn’t let people get away with stuff.

She was more comfortable with animals than with people. She was a hard worker and well respected at work. She and her husband both worked at a local motel called the Victoria. She managed it and he worked odd jobs.

They moved to California to start a new life. But things weren’t going well for the couple. According to some reports, they were often heard yelling and fighting.

One day, Geraldine tells her children their father drove off and never came back. She went on to say that he died in a horrific car accident.

There was no funeral.

No burial.

No ashes.

No gravesite to visit.

She never told the children where his body was buried.

The two young children believed their mother and never thought to question what really happened.

Where was John Kelly?
