Christopher Scarver: The Man Who Killed Jeffery Dahmer
Christopher Scarver killed Jeffery Dahmer, one of the most famous serial killers of all time.
Christoper Scarver was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He was one of five children. Scarver dropped out of college and was rumored to be an alcoholic and using drugs.
He worked as a trainee carpenter but was fired from his job at the Conservation Corps in 1990. Days later, he returned with a gun and demanded his manager Steven Lohman to give him money. The manager gave him fifteen dollars. Scarver became enraged and shot him in the head three times.
He was 24 when he was sent to Columbia Correctional Institue in Portage, Wisconsin in 1991. His attorney tried to plead an insanity plea, but the court rejected it. By that time, Scarver had asked in writing to add a T to his name to be called Christ.
Things were boring for Scarver. After all, he was in a maximum-security prison.
However, everything changed when Jeffery Dahmer, the serial killer who killed 17 men, ate parts of their bodies and had sex with their dead bodies, walked into the prison.
